Welcome to the International Studies, an affiliate of the Southwestern Social Science Association. The group includes members who come together from a variety of backgrounds and expertise including, International Relations and Affairs, Foreign Policy, International Political Economy, Globalization, International Trade and Business, International Terrorism, Global Security Studies, International Organizations, and International Area and Comparative Studies. We accept papers, panels, and round tables on issues that enhance scholarship on these areas and issues pertinent to international affairs. International Studies offers a collegial atmosphere for scholarly debates and discussions and encourages scholars and graduate students to participate in these debates and discussions. There is an opportunity to not only present papers and participate in discussions, but also to network with others with similar interests. International Studies highly encourages scholars and graduate students to join this collegial organization for furtherance of their scholarship on international issues, encompassing security and trade to international organizations and foreign policy. There is no better time than this critical time to share your research findings with those who share similar interests.
