Our members live and work in most every corner of the United States and around the world.
Membership in SSSA includes a subscription to the highly respected Social Science Quarterly and access to the journal’s back issues. Joining the SSSA also includes membership in one of our affiliates (Economics, History, International Studies, Political Science, Social Work, Sociology, and Women’s & Gender Studies). Members may join one or more additional affiliates for a modest added cost. A portion of each member’s dues goes to supporting the activities of the affiliates to which the member belongs.

By joining early you enjoy a discounted conference pre-registration rate for members. Students and retired faculty qualify for discounted rates.
