The Southwestern Sociology Association has been supporting the important work of the American Sociology Association Minority Fellowship Program (MFP) for over twenty years through a variety of fundraising efforts. The ASA Minority Fellowship Program provides crucial funding to scholars from historically underrepresented groups, and former fellows have contributed to SSA in leadership capacities over the years.
