Paper Prizes

At the 2019 SSSA Conference, the SWHA will award two paper prizes of $200 each. The SWHA Outstanding History Paper will be awarded to the best paper authored by a professional historians, and the Eddie Weller Student Paper Prize will be for the best undergraduate/graduate student paper. A paper prize committee, consisting of a SWHA member specializing in each one of the three content areas traditionally recruited for the conference (US/Canada, Europe, Asia), will make the selections.
