SSSA’s Mile-High 89th Annual Meeting

April 7-11, 2009

Make plans now to join a thousand of your colleagues from around the United States and the world in four days of research, workshops, roundtables, and social events. Each of our seven affiliates arranges its own distinctive set of events, and the association as a whole also hosts meta-events with participants from each affiliate.

Call for Proposals
General Program Chair Tracy Dietz (Sociology, University of Central Florida) has issued a Call for Proposals, with paper and panel proposal submission contacts for each SSSA affiliate (Economics, History, International Studies, Political Science, Social Work, Sociology, and Women’s & Gender Studies).

Hotels & Travel
SSSA will be traveling to the beautiful city of Denver in 2009, for a program organized under the theme, “Investing in the Social Sciences: A Hidden Gem in Higher Education.” Join more than 1,000 colleagues at the Grand Hyatt in downtown Denver, on a diverse program representing the major social science disciplines.
